Okay, so here is the first weekly update I've done in a while. Dates have been modified to fit into the future now that my brain is returning from it's nine-month vacation.

Last week was quite hectic, and this week promises to be nearly as hectic. Doctors appointments, plus my third anniversary all land this week. ALSO, I DO have a newborn baby to take care of, so bare with me as I might be a DAY or TWO late. I'll make sure not to go over the day or two, lol.

That being said, It's good to be back! I missed writing for you all and I'll be happy when I get myself back into the flow of things. I already have things swimming in my mind that will make you all want to kill me eventually when I get to it, because I'll stop right before the good part and make you wait a few days. -evil grin-

Anyway, Im off! If you have any questions or requests, feel free to ask them and I will answer to the best of my ability. Hope you enjoy the coming chapters!

The Return of the Slacker

I'm BACK! Okay, so I had my baby a little over a week ago. She's beautiful, she's healthy, and she's starting to get into the sleeping-at-night groove, which is a very good thing, because a Firesblood without sleep isn't much of a Firesblood at all.

Coming in November is NaNoWiMo, short for National Novel Writers Month for those of you who don't know, and this will be my first year of participation. I'm the admin of an online roleplaying forum, and a couple of my fellows were entering into the fun, so for support and for my own fun because I love to write, I'm joining in this year.

Does that mean my brain has returned to it's former glory? Sadly, no, HOWEVER, it IS getting there, which means you all can expect a new chapter for the Tracker and/or Just Like Me VERY soon. It will be soon, because once NaNoWiMo begins, I'll be gearing almost all of my creative energy towards that. Once November passes, hey, I'm a free bird and I'll be working once more on my fanfiction.

To all of my loyal readers who check up on this blog, there are a surprisingly large amount of you, thank you so much. I'm sorry for the long wait and I'm grateful for the patience you've held. Hopefully it wasn't too wearing, and I can reward you for it.

This is just a short update to let y'all know I'm still alive. I'll see what I can do about putting up one of the weekly updates so y'all know where I'm at with the chapters and around what date they should be up.

Did I say I was a Slacker?

Let me say it again. I'm a slacker. Not only have I not updated my fanfiction in a LOOONG time, but I've also neglected this blog something feirce.

Unfortunately, almost everything involving my little world of creativity has come to a screeching halt. My writing, my roleplaying, my fanfictioning, my digital art; whatever I was previously doing that involved imagination is suffering. And, those of you who have been reading my fanfiction and have been waiting for a chapter, are probably suffering just as badly. I am so sorry for that!

First off, allow me to let you in on what has been going on and why my brain so suddenly decided to take a vacation. About four months ago, my husband and I had sex. Well, we have sex quite a bit, but this time was different. At the end of this occasion, my husband sent a package my way, and instead of being turned away as it has so many times before, it got through the door. Now, my husband and I are expecting a third holy terror in September. Thats right. Mommy is going to be a mommy again.

For some reason that I cannot explain, my imagination seems to be hard wired to my uterus, and ever time I've gotten pregnant, any creativity is lost for a length of time. Thankfully, the longest this brain lapse has ever gone is nine months. My last pregnancy, my imagination returned full force about halfway through the pregnancy and didn't give me any more problems, so cross your fingers.

Anyway, I'm so sorry that it has taken me so long to let you guys know whats up. Hopefully I will get things running more smoothely soon, and we can all be friends again instead of the fanfictionist cringing from the wrath of the well-beloved readers. ^.^

Slacker!!!

Welcome to the home of the slacker. Those of you who read this are pretty much narrowed down to my loyal fanfiction fans who, without a doubt, deserve an updated chapter on time once in a while, especially when I say I'm going to post an updated chapter for a story.

Those of you who are waiting for these chapters, feel free to stretch me out on the rack and apply the hot oil. I even give you permission to drag out the iron maiden, for I am a slacker, and because of my procrastinating ways, I deserve it!

But before you tie me to a stake and burn me alive, let me assure you that the reasons for not updating are nothing but excuses, but they are good ones.

Last week, I got fired from my new job at the local bistro because they decided they couldn't afford to hire me after all. This in turn, sparked a fatalist mood in me. I cannot keep a job. I have a great personality, am good with people, and I work hard. I am, however, prone to sloth on the worst of my days. (Of course, the woman that fired me did so after I asked her about the possibility of me making a short trip this past weekend to Washington for my husbands family reunion. She threw a fit about it, I debated for the better part of an entire day on whether I should just go or stay home and send the rest of my family on the way. Before I had the chance to call her and inform her that I would be coming to work on Sunday, she called me and told me she had no use for me. It's her loss, and no matter how badly you want it, when you run a small business that is just getting on it's feet, there is no such thing as a day off, whether you hire someone you can't afford to hire or not just to get it.) The best of it, was that I even offered to trade another girl that worked during the week! BEFORE I went! and I was brand new! I wasn't sure that I could keep up on a week day, but I was going to try my damndest to do it, new or not. I was determined! Then she verbally smacked me in the face saying there was no way in hell that I would cut it on the weekday, even if I managed to trade someone which was highly impossible, and that I had to do what I had to do.

I HATE THAT FUCKING LINE! Do what you have to do. Do what you fucking have to do. I didn't have to hop in the car and drive 300 something fucking miles to see people that I barely know or haven't met at all. I didn't have to do anything. I did it because I love my husband, my inlaws, and it was my husband's grandmother's birthday, and she was wanting to see her great grandkids. And being that she's been sick and in the hospital so much this past year, I thought it was most definately a damn good idea to travel up there and see her again, just in case it was the last time we could. I didn't have to do anything, but you'd think that a woman with a family would understand the importance of something like that. and it's not like I knew in advance, either. The day I found out about it, I went and talked to her about it to see if it was okay.

"Well, I'll just have to work that day. Do what you have to do." Well excuse me. Because of that snotty voice and that fucking stupid, overused line, I was prepared to make her happy instead of my family and stay home. I was going to make my husband take my children up those three hundred something miles by his self so that they wouldn't be disapointed and think that I was just keeping him away. Yes, I was trying to win browny points from my inlaws, because I have the distinct feeling that they just don't like me very much. I wanted to prove to them that I wasn't as antisocial as I proved to be at first. Screw that all to fucking hell, I have to make my new boss happy. And she fires me not a minute before I was getting ready to give her a call.

...bitter? me? no. Just venting. I'm sorry, you guys. Anyway, so I got fired, then I spent the weekend with inlaws and away from internet access, and now I'm sicker than snot with a head and chest cold.

Hopefully, when I'm better I'll be able to finish the next chapter to The Tracker for you guys. In the meantime, I'm sorry for making your eyes bug out. This is a journal and I intend to use it for the occasional rant and rave. >.<

I'll hopefully have something up for you very soon.

Hey all, I need a slap on the wrist. I told you that I would be updating this weekly, and I haven't updated in...gods know how many weeks.

Thus far, I have been adrift in the choppy waters of unemployment yet again, stuck in the limbo of indecision; do I get another job that makes me so miserable I could just puke, or do I go to college now instead of five or so years from now when my children are in school? Choices, choices.

As of now, I have an extremely part time job working Sundays at a local Bistro, and it's nice. It definately keeps me busy and I'm one of those weird people that actually like to feel like their working for their money. I hate desk jobs. I hate sitting on my ass all day taking calls or whatever else people do at desk jobs. I like jobs where I feel like I'm actually doing something, and I can see the proof of that right in front of me. Application, people! Must have application!

But anyway, I've been looking for jobs and taking care of sick children and a sick husband for the last little while, and time has been escaping me. On top of that, insomnia has kicked into my system yet again, and has been ruthless, so I haven't been getting the sleep that I need to function. The good news about that is I get some of my best ideas when I'm exausted (or when I'm around water for some reason). The bad news is, that being exausted pretty much makes it so that I have absolutely no ambition to do anything. Fear not, though, for I have recieved the gift of sleep from my mother, in the form of little blue pills that taste like alum that she got over the counter at walmart. So, hopefully, that little problem will be taken care of. I'm much more motivated when I have eight or more hours of sleep.

Those of you who are following The Tracker, prepare yourselves...It's about to get a little rocky in the upcoming chapters. I have the beginning of the chapter started, and I should have it finished by friday, I'm hoping, but we'll see.

Anyhow, if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask and I will answer them. This includes, but is not limited too, questions about stories, whether it be something you don't understand, something you can't pronounce, or even something you are wonder or hoping about.

Hey everyone, another update for you all. I hope you enjoyed the newest chapter of The Tracker. Some new possibilities, right? If you have any questions let me know. I'm not one of those people that will blow them off and say that it will reveal to much. No, if you ask me a question that might reveal way too much, I'll answer. You'll just have to decipher it.

Sorry that the chapter wasn't up yesterday on schedule. I had an accident of stupidity and twisted my ankle when I was trying to help my husband wax the van. Slid of the bumper and before I knew it, I was on my ass and I hit my head on my mom's car. I didn't feel anything when I hit my head. No, I was too busy screaming in pain because of my ankle. Funny thing is, is this is the fifteenth or so time that I've twisted my ankle. I have some bad ankles. anyway, so yesterday I was a little high on Oxycodone and in no state to attempt to finish the chapter in a way that would be understandable. Plus I just kept getting distracted.

Job is going good. I'm on the floor now, so thats fun. Anyhow, See you all later!

Hey everyone, another Weekly Update for you. I'm so sorry about the pushback with 'Just Like Me'. I really tried to write the next chapter. I sat there for almost an hour solid trying to figure out what to do next. I think I got like one sentance out the entire time. >.<>

As for you 'Tracker' fans, rest assured that the roadblock has NOT hit me for that, and that I've been feverishly working on it. I know the exact direction this story is going, thus far, all I must do is write it out. I hope you liked the little plot twist in Chapter 8, and that it wasn't too predictable. Also, for anyone that is interested, I'm looking for a BETA for 'The Tracker', so if you are interested, leave me a message in the comment box at the end of this entry. I could really use the input. Also, if anyone has any ideas or wants, post them there as well and I'll see what I can do to possibly fit them into the story. I know that some of you are hoping for a tryst in the near future, and that may or may not happen (wink-wink, nudge-nudge), and since I'm a character writer, this will be between Li'ct-ha, Blade, and Nix. So, we'll see. There will definately be more confused frustration on the part of our favorite Young Blood, as well as a little something coming in the VERY, VERY near future between Blade and Nix. Whether it is a romantic connection or not, I guess you'll just have to wait and see! Again, let me know what you would like to see and I do what I can. I write for myself, and I write for my fans. I've been writing fanfiction for nearly seven years now, and if there is something my fans want to see, those are usually the inspiration for my best plot twists.

I would like to stress again that I'd kind of like to know if anyone is reading this blog. It really does help me out a lot.

Hey all. I hope this is helpful to you. Before I move on to other things, I would kind of like to know if anyone is actually coming here. I don't usually like talking to myself, but even if one person gets here and gets something out of this, it makes me feel better. So pop into the comments and leave me one.

Still in trainting for my new job, and let me tell you that I haven't been this bored since high school detention, stuck by myself in an empty room without even homework to distract me and the fear that if I fall asleep, I'll have to come back the next day.

The good thing is, is that Training is almost coming to an end. This is the last week and then I'll be on the floor. YAY! That will be so much easier for me. One of the few good things about training (aside from learning about what I'm going to be doing for work), is that I've been getting a lot of inspiration, especially for The Tracker. So thats REALLY good.

Both girls are sick. Emma got Pink Eye, so I've been trying my damned hardest not to get that. Cross your fingers for me. We all just got over the Flu, and now I'm dealing with a cold thats moving into my chest, but at least it's not too bad.

Well, anyway, I hope you all have a fantastic day. I have some errands I need to run, so farewell!

I know some of these dates look pretty bad, but trust me, it's not as bad as it seems. The ones that are postponed to publish next year are going to be posted in their entirity, so you won't have to wait for me to finish writing chapters. Unfortunately, the rest of you (those that are waiting for Just like Me and The Tracker), do have to wait. Rest assured that I have not abandoned these fictions and they will be updated. I've had a hard time finding the time with two little ones, and now, a new job. There will be some nights that I will get home and just won't want to do a damn thing. But, don't worry, because I will try my very hardest to meet the deadline posted on this site.

Sometimes, I will post before the deadline, and rarely after, but I will always let you know if something is coming out late. ALWAYS.

Updates on fanfiction and other works will be posted every week so that you know the 'whens' and 'whats' of everything. Also, keep in mind that I will probebly add a few more to the list. I will also indicate which stories are fanfiction, and which ones are original. My original works can be found at Sheezyart.com at the website above.

I rarely post digital art, as I am still teaching myself how to do it and it has been quite a strenuous process. Occasionally there will be updates or new announcements on something I have posted, but very rarely.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask them and I will answer them to the best of my ability.

I hope that this helps all of you in the future, especially those waiting so patiently for my ass to update!

The First Posting

Welcome to the first blog entry. I have to tell you, that this is probebly my fifth blog place, but maybe I'll actually keep up with this one. I have an extremely short attention span. Lovely, eh?

So I write. I write short stories and books. Have I published yet? No. But in the future, I will be published.

I'm also teaching myself how to digitally draw and paint, which, no matter how easy it looks or how you think you can do it just as good, you can't. It's way harder then it looks. Then again, you might just be naturally good at everything. If that is the case, I hate you.

Just kidding.

but seriously...

Just turned 21 last week. Yes, I'm still alive. So cool. I also started a job. Going through training process right now, and I'll be in training for the next two weeks. If I don't fall asleep and get fired.

Also, I VERY recently moved from one state to another, so a lot of the things I do for fun, like writing fanfiction and such, have been put off for a VERY small amount of time. Still working on them, just haven't finished them.

Anyway, I need a smoke and I have a bunch of flies bugging the hell out of me, so this concludes the first blog. I will update soon.
